What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is a food first, holistic approach to maximizing your health through nutritional and lifestyle changes. It focuses on the body as a whole and addresses the root cause of health concerns. Addressing the root cause allows clients to experience true, long-term healing. Nutritional therapy emphasizes teaching clients to eat properly prepared, nutrient dense, food to provide the body the necessary nutrients to function optimally. In my practice, I use in-depth discussions with clients, symptomatology questionnaires and blood work to get a holistic picture of where the body may be struggling. As a team we address your concerns through diet change, lifestyle change and supplement protocols.
What is Health Coaching?
A health coach helps you take actionable steps towards lasting change. Let’s be honest for a second. Creating lasting change is difficult. A health coach provides the support, accountability and resources needed to help you make these changes stick.
How Do Nutritional Therapy and Health Coaching Fit Together?
By combining these two services I am able to provide my clients with the best of both worlds. Through nutritional therapy, we create an actionable plan and as a health coach, I help you execute on that plan. Making changes to our diet and lifestyle is difficult, at best. Just as a sports coach helps their athletes excel at their sport, as a health coach I support my clients while they are executing improvements to their health.
Please note that as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition or disease. I also do not provide medical advice. One should always consult a qualified medical professional before engaging in any dietary and/or lifestyle change.
